I am only at the start of my journey as a bilingual writer and have started submitting my work last year. I have written poetry, essays and short fiction.
As a part of my learning as a writer I have been studying in Moscow’s School of Literary Practice, Free University, Russian Chapter of Feminist Classes WLAG, small group workshops with author and poet Oksana Vasykina as well as auditing of ‘poetry and experiment’ course by poet Eoghan Walls in Lancaster.
I am interested in auto-biographical texts, creative non-fiction and poetry that shine light on experiences of emigration, conflict, scientific questions as well as deeply personal human experiences.
Poetry
My first selection of poetry was recently published in Prosodia.
migration -fragmentaion
разные часовые пояса
языки
слова
мир растягивается
человек раскалывается
распадается
и вот от него ничего не осталось.
—–
different time zones
languages
words
as if the world is stretching
the person splits
disintegrates
and now there is nothing left.
Orchestra of pain
I can’t help but look at you
and your wounds
I can’t stop myself from flipping through the pages
your life spills into and out of them
I can’t help but tremble inside when I hear gunpowder falling
the sound of heavy sand pouring out from our chests
when we suddenly howled in unison
from the pain inside – you and I.
